Traffio attended the No-Dig Down Under Expo (NDDU) in Melbourne last week with team members Brad, Anthony, Nick, Tahni, Trinh, Kat, Tara, Ash, and Nathan Ng representing across the two event days.

Although Traffio already services the Non-Destructive Digging industry, the expo and conference provided an invaluable opportunity to connect with professionals in local councils, construction firms, utilities, non-destructive digging, and other technology providers, learn more about the challenges the sector faces, and explore how Traffio can support the industry like it does for industries such as Temporary Traffic Management.
Throughout the expo, Brad, Tahni and Anthony demoed the software, showcasing how simply the platform streamlines the scheduling and management of people, fleet, and plant. The number of conversations with industry representatives who recognised the potential for greater efficiency, fewer errors, and stronger communication through the software was a pleasant surprise. Brad said “One thing that has come out of the NDDU expo is how many businesses are operating with excel spreadsheets, Dropbox, or multiple platforms that do not communicate to one another, with extra work in their scheduling and communications with field staff, it was great to see many recognise what Traffio can do to support them in their businesses regardless of their size”.
In addition to the opportunities on the exhibition floor, Anthony attended a series of sessions that offered deeper insights into the current state and future direction of the non- destructive digging sector. These sessions highlighted the increasing importance of technology in supporting safe, efficient, and compliant operations, similar to other industries Traffio services, which aligns closely with Traffio’s mission to make work effective and enjoyable. For Anthony, he said “The best parts were the diversity of attendees – both nationally and internationally and the diversity of the construction sectors represented at both NDDU and Converge”.
The event also gave the team the chance to connect with other exhibitors, each contributing to the collective progress of the industry.
The strong interest shown in Traffio’s offering throughout the expo really shows promising opportunities ahead, both in supporting businesses already familiar with non-destructive digging and in expanding to those who need support enhancing their operational efficiencies.
As the team reflects on its time at No-Dig Down Under, the value of these connections and conversations is clear. The expo not only confirmed the relevance of Traffio’s platform to the industry but also reinforced the company’s commitment to supporting innovation and growth across Australia and beyond.
