Customers, and those soon to become customers of Traffio often hear the phrase: “Everything in Traffio was built because a customer asked for it, or the industry needed it." That belief sits at the heart of Traffio and Traffio's customer's success. Every feature is a result of genuine engagement, consultation, and collaboration with the businesses and their team members who use the software daily.
By listening closely and responding to customer needs, Traffio continues to create software that is both functional and transformative, helping businesses make work effective and enjoyable.
As part of Traffio’s ongoing commitment to customer innovation and improvement, the team hosted its first round table on 11th September 2025 to explore how to improve the Plans & Permit module of Traffio.
After plenty of feedback via the Feedback button in Traffio, and though customers reaching out, the round table brought together several customers and industry representatives to collaborate, refine and share insights, challenges, and opportunities to help enhance the Plans & Permits module.
The Plans & Permit module was initially built for Traffio Direct, however is also useful for those who are in the main Traffio application in industries such as Temporary Traffic Management (TTM). This round table allowed the team to hear and see what improvements could be made to suit the wider Traffio application.

The round table included Steve Beadels from Gradient Group, Michael Bergonzo from AVADA Group, Jordan Paragalli and Lisa Vigilante from M1, and Jake Vlasveld and Kane Martin from Protech. All in the room have been long-time supporters and active contributors in refining the functionality to better meet the needs of every customer not just their own businesses.
Discussions throughout the session allowed Nick and Dave (in particular)to be able to visualise what needs to change and be adapted to allow the Plans & Permits module to serve industries such as TTM better, and allow them to be more efficient. The focus on identifying potential upgrades, introducing new capabilities, and fine-tuning existing features has now created a pathway for change.
This collaborative approach ensures that Traffio’s development roadmap continues to be guided by real-world industry use and meaningful customer feedback, a formula that has driven Traffio’s growth from day one.
The new updates and additions to the software will be rolled out over the next few weeks and months.
Of course if any customers have further feedback, you can do so by following the feedback buttons in the Traffio web application.
